Great frustration. When I ordered this trimmer I was under the impression that I could start using it right away. Not so. Had to go out and look for a cord that would fit. It did not come with an electrical cord so could get started.
It's cheap, and does its job. I was going to spend twice as much on a different model, and I'm glad I didn't. I've had this B&D trimmer for a year, and it works fine for me. If it breaks or I wear it out, I'll buy another one. For under $30, I can abuse it, and not worry about it. Not much more that I could ask for.
I bought this item for my dad, he loved it, works great such great power and accuracy, great to use around the house, even fun .
This weedeater was light and easy to use. It did a great job, but unfortunately it started smoking and burned up before we finished even one small job. The price was wonderful, but not for less than one full use. It was being used in normal fashion, and we cannot account for what happened.
