This product is not a slot punch for ID badges. I bought this product to punch slots in some name tags, but since it won't do that I have no use for it at all. It is actually a tool for aluminum siding or something like that. If it says "slot punch," do not be misled.

THe Malco punch performs well. It was at a price well below the big box home improveent stores. It has a nice grip to it and a sturdy feel in your hand.
