This one is far behond any others. Over the years I also purchased several other brands which I never liked. I especially like how it bends in the middle. I purchased the standard battery model Milwaukee screwdriver years ago and liked it. When the old batteries finally gave out I made the jump to the Lithion battery model. Small,powerful and charges very quickly. What a difference.
It must have some sort of overload protection (a good thing). The first time I tried to use it to screw something in, it overloaded itself and stopped working. It has absolutely no power. This is the most anemic tool I have ever used. I'm sorry to say I don't agree with anyone else who reviewed this thing.
I purchased it for $19 from Home Depot on Black Monday and thought I was getting a huge bargain given that it was $60 here at Amazon. I can't recommend this tool for the $19 I paid for it, let alone the money they are asking for it. It's probably good for taking the screws out of switchplates but beyond that I'm not sure it has any use.
Milwaukee equipment has always made durable products for the professional as well as the homeowner and this electric screwdriver is no exception I use it for assembly work and so far has really surprised me with its versatility compared to my last electric (yellow) screwdriver I especially like the clutch system with auto off saves battery life and I only need to change batteries 3 times in two days, The last electric (yellow) screwdriver had battery changes 3 times a day or more witch is time consuming while trying to be mobile. I hope you other pro's know what I mean by yellow only one company with yellow signature products ) The last (yellow) screwdriver had more voltage but was bulkier and seemed to have less torque (i.e.
When you put a new bit in all you have to do is push it in. You can truely do one-handed bit changes. Then you can take your hand off the release and pull the bit out. Not much is said in the reviews I've read about the bit holder on this device. It's great. I'm sure the light on other devices is nice, but this easy to use bit holder trumps a light any day in my book. No more pull-out-the-release-and-put-in-the-bit-at-the-same-time business. Pull the release out and it stays released.
It is lighter and more compact. I have been using this power screwdriver instead of my power drill.
