Milwaukee 0612-26 14.4-Volt Ni-Cad 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit with Worklight
The all new compact series featuring the Clip-Lok System is designed to meet the needs of today's contractors. Its compact size allows for use in tighter quarters and the exclusive Clip-Lok System provides convenient, hands-free, transportation of the drill while offering a convenient place to store the tool while working. The Clip-Lok System securely attaches to the user's belt so the drill is always within reach. Higher speed allows for faster drilling and fastening, and high torque provides the power to use larger bits and drill larger holes. The 14.4 volt model features a 1/2 in. single-sleeve ratcheting chuck for superior grip on bits (bits slip less minimizing downtime). A cushioned, soft-grip, non-slip handle reduces vibration and maximizes comfort. On-board bit storage holds up to two extra driver bits. The patented reversible battery feature allows for use in tighter spaces and provides ultimate balance. The newly designed Worklight features the Clip-Lok System allowing for placement on either side of the user for hands free operation of the light while working in areas where extra light is needed.

Milwaukee 0612-26 14.4-Volt Ni-Cad 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit with Worklight Reviews
Honestly I haven't even used the drill yet. When I compared the price of 2 new batteries to the cost of this set I figured I might as well just get the set.
This is the third of these that I have and couldn't ask for a more dependable tool.
The Milwaukee 14.4 Volt drill/driver is recommended for purchase. It is easy to change bits, easy to drill and easy to recharge. It works as expected. The drill is comfortable to hold.
Now I am down to one and the warranty for NiCad batteries is 1 year. It is now June 2008 and one of my batteries is totally dead. Drill and worklight are both great though, just not without a battery. I purchased this 14.4 combo set back in December 2006. I use the drill heavily. I like the drill but now instead of spending mucho $$$ on another battery I will probably go with a different brand. I depend on both batteries.
To be honest.what I wanted most was the WORKLIGHT. You WILL NOT WEAR IT OUT. So for the professional: this tool will NOT LET YOU DOWN. Another feature that sets the Milwaukee apart from the rest is the multi position battery. You can place the battery in two positions-depending on the situation or your prefrence.I prefer the "reversed" battery position for better tool ballance. Wether I'm under a sink or deep in a pipe chase the 14.4 volt worklight shines BRIGHT.
This thing ROCKS. I'm a professional maintainance man for a county jail.I use the Milwaukee 14.4 volt driver drill EVERY DAY.I've dropped it from a 6' ladder.it's been soaked with water and it still runs GREAT. When it came time for me to upgrade my cordless tool at HOME the first thing I thought of was the Milwaukee I use every day at work. ~HANDY RANDY And for the homeowner: this will be the last cordless driver/drill you will ever need.
This tool has been splashed with water and it still keeps lighting the way.
