Milwaukee 6390-21 Tilt-Lok 15 Amp 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw Reviews

Excellent saw, has greater tilt than most other saws. In the past I have had better luck and with Milwaukee products. Very heavy duty.

Started looking it over and was >SHOCKED Bought this saw from from a brick and mortar store. So here is my first impression. Took it home and unpacked it. Got it to replace a dewalt dw396.

I bought the Milwaukee as my first circular saw after reading about it in Consumer Reports. The saw is still going strong after 2 years of fairly heavy work. I've cut through PT 2x lumber, plywood, cement board, 1-1/2" thick flooring (with nails), and aluminum siding effortlessly. I've heard that circular saws sometimes stall or have difficulty cutting through certain things, but that is not something I've ever experienced with this saw.

The Milwaukee is the most well thought out of all of them by far. Great power, sight line, weight, base plate strength, adjustment levers, adjustment handle, blade guard sensitivity, etc. I've been building houses for 20 years and I've used nearly all brands. Don't change a thing, Milwaukee. No need to buy another saw. It is as though they were recording all my mental notes over the years about what was wrong with all the other saws and then corrected them.
