Plasplug DWW185US Master Tiler 1 Horsepower 7-Inch Tile Wet Saw

Having the right tool for the job makes all the difference in the world, and this is definitely the right tool for a tiling job. It makes super straight cuts, clean miters and even makes curved cuts possible. The 1-horsepower motor powers the 7-inch blade through any kind of tile up to an impressive 1-1/16 inches thick, making the toughest part of a tiling job the very easiest. This saw recirculates the water, which does two things: It keeps the dust to a minimum and keeps the blade cool.

Setup is minimal, and you'll be cutting tile shortly after you open the box. It's got a smooth aluminum table that the tile glides on, and there's a second cutting wheel included, along with an extension table for handling larger tiles. There is a degree of mess, of course, so if you're using this saw inside, we'd suggest some plastic sheeting to protect any surfaces.

If you've tiled with a manual cutter, you'll be absolutely delighted with this saw. It's fast, easy and effortless, turning the most stressful part of a tile job into the most foolproof.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Plasplug DWW185US Master Tiler 1 Horsepower 7-Inch Tile Wet Saw Reviews

This was a good purchase short of buying a professional quality saw.

I like the contained water reservoir, no need to refill in the middle of the project and it's easy to drain when you are done. It doesn't make a mess while using it like the cheap saws do.

Great for home projects. Easy to use, easy to clean up.

FYI - This is almost an exact replica of the $400 Huffy saw at the big orange home improvement store On the con side: the arbor isn't perfectly straight and removable tile bed piece doesn't sit perfectly flat when in the down position.

The guide arm is nice in that it has separate clamps on both sides so it doesn't slip while you are cutting.

Otherwise, a great tool and I look forward to using it again in future projects. I cut tiles for two small bathrooms with lots of angles without any problems. The cutter was easy to use. I only had problems attaching and setting up the protective guard. It cuts fairly fast and very well.

Instead of renting a tile saw for a bunch of weekends we decided to purchase one. There was no problem cutting any of the tiles. My husband is working on finishing our basement. Overall we are really happy with this purchase. The only thing is that it does make a mess from all of the tile dust collecting in the water so make sure that you use it in an area that can be easily cleaned. This saw has worked really well so far.
