Anyway, on to my less than stellar review (I ordered two sets). * Selection of spray settings head rotated smoothly with detents. Actually, if you look at the picture of the product that's sort of what the spray looks like, water only spraying to the sides. Positive.
I'm still suspicious. * The other 4 head are fine spray settings: three 180 degree and one left/right pattern. * If you want the most common all around spray pattern you won't get it. The spray is decidedly non-uniform. These work OK.
Note: Get Organized. * If you want to adjust the uneven spray you will have to pull up the stake and reseat. just saying :) * You may not want to (unlike previous "reviewer" does) connect two sets together or use quick-connects. Reviewer based out of CT while "Get Organized." is based out of PA.
These are for the square and round hole selections on the head. Again though making adjustments to where the water hits requires repositioning the stake. * Stakes are pretty tough (but my ground was too hard and I had to use a hammer and stake to prep the holes). Has their own web site where they sell a lot of "as seen on TV" and other cheap items.
* System connects together easily (though there might be bits of black plastic in the orange threads you should remove). These will reduce the water spray noticeably (perhaps with the fine spray patterns it would be OK). Is the other reviewer an industry shill. Negative.
So check where the spray pattern hits before seating. A few times of this and you hole is too loose for a good seating.
Being a Southerner, and living in New England we found we couldn't install underground year round sprinkler systems we'd been used to in the South. I also ordered the quick connect/disconnect on the hose ends making it even easier. Daily watering and changing sprinklers with arthritic hands was very inconveient. I easily set the sprinkler/stakes in the lawn for summer, placing them where needed. They'll be safe and stored in the basement for next year.
I linked 2 Packages of 3 sprinklers together without losing water pressure, Yippee for me. Be sure to look for them add them to your cart. I'm back to order more for the front yard and dog run. This product is easy as pie to use. Great price too.
I don't have to worry about the lawnmower ruining them or if they'll freeze and break in harsh winter weather. Each sprinkler head has adjustable spray settings. PORTABLE SPRINKLER SYSTEM. This is a great solution.
