The 120-volt, 10-amp pump not only provides a continuous air supply for the nail and staple guns, but the portable 6-gallon air tank can supply up to 150 psi of air for other tools in your shop or garage. Not only do you get an oil-free, maintenance-free pump with 40 feet of quality 1/4?inch air hose and 2 couplers, but the three nailer stapler guns are like having an extra set of hands in the shop. No longer do you have to clamp two pieces of wood together so that you can hold a nail or brad in one hand and a hammer in the other. In the workshop you can use the brad nailer for fastening smaller wood projects or the ¼-inch stapler for installing items such as screen wire, low voltage wiring, upholstery, furniture coverings, or any project where a staple can be used in place of a screw. Switch to the 16-gauge finish nail gun and use ¾-inch nails for casing and moldings, or 2-1/2-inch nails for securing baseboard, moldings, door frames, jambs, etc. The portable lightweight compressor allows you the free range of movement from one job site to the next. seemed a good deal. the compressor is a different model than the one sold separately and it is much cheaper build. I still think you could buy just the guns an forget about this compressor. (it's for very light duty use). for nails it was ok if you don't have too many in a row otherwise expect delays. I texture some office walls and it was ok but i had to wait after it not too long. I do not recommend the compressor - it's to cheap build and it will break when you need a little more from it.
1. After that I used it for spray painting and this was the end of it. I know and I was aware that you shouldn't use this compressor for more than (i believe) 40minutes in one hour and I didn't. The compressor broke down completely after 5 day of use.
the compressor started to make a noise like something was broken inside, then it didn't hold 120 psi just 100 psi and finally it started to loose air from where the pump is. 2. I bought this combo. I used it for nailing , texture walls (knockdown) , spray painting.
3. If you have your own bigger better compressor the guns I guess are ok. - one wall at a time.
Great set up for the average person. I continue to use the set up for other applications, and let friends use it as well. I used this set up to finish my basement.
Great outfit for the price,I've used on a few projects and saved much time and labor.Its the way to go.Many projects can be accomplished with this set up.
