Overall a nice saw with a sharp blade. I give this 4 only because I feel I would have more precise control if the diameter of the handle was a bit larger. There's not much you can get wrong on a coping saw if the blade is sharp and the bow is stiff.

I won't buy inferior saws any more. The handle is made from a quality hardwood. It gives a controlled feel and allows for precise cuts with clean lines with little tear-out. This German made coping saw is of superior quality. The frame is light yet rigid and sturdy. You know its quality instantly when you get it in hand. With proper care it should last a lifetime. The feel of the saw in hand is the best part.
