I was very impressed at how well made this item is. Highly recommended. Although the product description shows only SAE and metric modes, the unit I received can also read out fractional inches (down to 1/128th)a very nice bonus. When you factor in the low price (I paid $11.95), it becomes a remarkable bargain.
SAE-metric conversion is a very useful feature for me. I was looking for an inexpensive good quality caliper to use around home. This fits the bill perfectly. A few tests using objects of known size have shown it to be accurate. It does not feel flimsy or otherwise cheap.
I work in a Navy calibration laboratory and calibrated it with gage block standards and it was right on, dead nutz. For the money, you cannot beat this product.
Easy to read. Good product. Changes from metric to English, and zeros-out, with a push of a button.
